Kristen's Story
What's to tell.... Since leaving Riverview and Sarasota (I haven't been back since 1991 - eek!)... I went away to school, got a job, went back to school, and then went back again, got another job, met a nice guy, got married, became a Red Sox Fan, bought a house, got a dog, had a son, got a different job, sold the house, bought another one, turned 40 years old, had another son, got a turtle.
So, that's about it... I am married, my husband (Ira) and I are both lawyers and big Red Sox fans. We have two wonderful boys - Adam, who is 8 1/2, and David, who is 2....Expand for more
We live in Rockville, Maryland, outside of Washington, DC. Instead of practicing law, for the last 8 years, I have worked as a writer and editor for a legal (tax) publisher. Which sounds boring, I know, but it is actually great. Not only do I love what I do, it allows me to work exclusively from home - giving me the flexibility I need so I can watch lots of baseball games... err, I mean, so I can take care of the kids, the dog, and the turtle!!
It's not an exciting life... but I consider myself incredibly lucky as it is much more than I had ever hoped for!
