Kristi's Story
Life
After graduating from high school, I went on to the University of Maine. I met my future husband, Shawn, at Campus Crusade for Christ. We started dating just before he graduated and moved to New Hampshire. We continued with our long-distance (4 hour drive) relationship until I graduated with my degree in biochemistry and moved to Hanover, NH where I worked as a lab tech at Dartmouth Medical School. two places of work, each commuting about 45 minutes in opposite directions. On May 18, 2005 we gave birth to our first child, Alexander (Xander, for short). I submitted my resignation from Dartmouth and have been a full-time mom ever since. And on January 4, 2007 we had our second child, Elizabeth.
Workplace
When I graduated from UMaine I got a job as a laboratory technician at Dartmouth for the Compton lab. I did some research and managed the lab. About a week before my son was due, I left work to be a full time mom.
