Kristi's Story
I moved around a lot when I was still married to David Muniz who was in the Coast Guard, and also went to Rancho Cotati H.S. We divorced back in 2005, but I stayed in Washington state with my daughter and son until they were both graduated. I became an Interior Designer, I really loved that, but I unfortunately came down with 3 aggressive types of Arthritis and had to go on full disability. I moved to Arizona in 2016, my Rheumatologist said my Arthritis would feel better and my parents retired there.
My ex-husband David passed away in 2021 from Covid; that brought my 24 yr old son to Arizona to live with me. My older daughter lives close by with her husband and my 2 beautiful grand children. I had hip replacement surgery the same week my ex passed away, my son nee...Expand for more
ded to be brought home from WA state because of fear/psych. issues and my hip pain kept me from walking or driving for a while. Oh, also both of my parents passed away,, my father in 2021 about 6 months before David and my mom 2 years before that. Them passing away ment I needed to sell the house we were living in and buy a smaller 2 bdrm condo.
I am doing pretty good now, my hip is doing good and I'm taking things day by day, keeping my head above water with inflation being what it is. My dog Edgar and my 2 grandkids, Jack and Alice are always a bright light to any day. I am looking forward to a trip to Petaluma this October for one of my nephews getting married.
