Kristi's Story
My husband, Nobuo, and I have been married for 18 years. We have three children Tom 17, Kito 14 and Kaede 10.
I'm currently doing a counseling externship at the Center for Family Development while completing my MS in Applied EcoPsychology.
I'm an author and national presenter. My first book, Finding Our Way: Practical Solutions for Creating a Supportive Home and Community for the Asperger Syndrome Family was released in 2005 and received the Autism Society of America's Literary Work of the Year in 2006. I am currently writing a book on Asperger Syndrom...Expand for more
e and Sexuality with co-author, Joe Steiner which is slated for released next fall.
My children are my highest priority and greatest joy in life, but it's not enough for me alone to love and understand them--I am trying to change the world to be a better place for them and others who struggle with similar challenges. But I cannot do this alone. I'm incredibly grateful for the tremendous community of support we have had the great honor of being a part of. I am truly surrounded by the most amazing friends and along with my family, they are my life.
