Kristi's Story
I am a mother of 4 (2-boys & 2 girls). I did the family first thing!!
I currently attend USF where Im finishing my Bachelors degree. I have been a Veterinary Technician for 14 years, but I decided to further that and become a Veterinarian (which is the path Im on now). I just applied to Vet school and hope to get accepted on the first try as I hear it is very Difficult as they only accept approx. 80 students per year.
Things changed alot in my life when my Dad passed away from a heart attack. It made me view life differently, as he was only 45 years old when he died. I decided that I needed to do things (important things!!) with my life , as I realized life doesnt last. I Hug Every Member of my family and tell them I love them at least once a day (if not more!!) I did not get the chance to do that with my Dad as his death was sudden ( Here Today Gone Tomorrow). I guess its true that we never realize the importance of love until we lose it, we are so busy worrying about ourselves to pay attention (I pay close attention now!). The ...Expand for more
one good thing that came from his death was the direction it sent my life, he always wanted good things for me and I will always thank him for pushing me to achieve those goals.
Hubbie and I currently have a house and some property in Wesley Chapel, Fl. I believe we will be in this area for quite some time as my husband has an A/C company here. I rode horses much of my childhood, and that has not stopped as we have four horses at this time. I still barrel race when time permits, and my youngest has really taken a liking to the equestrian environment as well.
Hubbie and I also take a cruise at least once a year, as we both scuba dive and this gives us the opportunity to see places that have more exotic dive sites (and it gives us some alone time -just the two of us!!).
I still enjoy dancing, karaoke, and being outdoors. It seems that time has flown since those old school days , and Ive grown a lot since then. No matter how much time has past the most important thing is that Im living life and enjoying as much of it as I can!!!!!!
