Kristin's Story

Life Well I moved back to California in '99 to work for AT&T Wireless where I met a lot of great people including my boyfriend. We have been together for almost 8 years now which is crazy, but I love him so we'll see what happens... I worked at AT&T for only about 2 years then I had a year off on disability because of my epilepsy, my license was suspended. I spent the following year doing Temp jobs until I found this great job with a company who built new homes and I started as their receptionist. It was only about a month or two before they offered me a job as their warranty coordinator ( meaning someone has a problem with their new house they call me and I make the neccesary appointments to get the problem looked at and then fixed). The job was great and I was making great money but they were small and after about a year and a half they laid me off. So I started looking into moving back to Utah and well here I am. I moved from Rancho Cordova back to Utah with my Boyfriend Josh and my 2 cats Smokey and Missey in Dec. of '05. We have a small one bedroom apt. right now that we have been in since Jan.'06. We are currenly looking for something bigger since our little family has grown quite a bit since then. It started that my brother needed us to take his kitten Avalanche for a few months(he's still with us) then in April of '06 we adopted a 2 1/2 yr.old dog,a Shiba Inu named Koa,we were still in denial and thought the kitten was leaving. Then in January of 2007 we got the best surprise, we found out I was pregnant, by april 13 they were able to tell...Expand for more
us it was a boy. A nice birthday present to be sure but we both already knew. I knew almost from the time I found out I was pregnant and about a month or two later we were out running errands and came upon some baby stuff and Josh said you know it's going to be a boy right? So anyway our son Cole was born in July of '07(2 1/2 mo. early) he's doing great, he's still in the hospital but he's doing great and will probably get to come home early. He is absolutely amazing, he was only 3lbs 1oz when he was born but he never needed oxygen. He has been breathing on his own from the time he was born. He has so much dark hair and the most beautiful face and the cutest facial expressions. We love him so much, and it is so hard to have to leave him in the hospital every night but he will be home soon. So we hope that by the time our son comes home from the hospital we will have a house with at least 2br and a yard for our family and our zoo.:)We are both working currently, Josh works construction as a carpenter for a builder up in Park City and I have just kind of been working as an admin. for a couple different companies but hopefully I will be able to stay home with Cole now at least part-time. Things are good and they just keep getting better. That's it for now it is nice to be back I missed the beautiful mountains and the snow and it's great having my family so close again. My brother just turned 19 and my sister is almost 15( I feel so old)! Well as more of my life happens I guess I will post it but for right now that's it so far it's been wonderful!!!
