Kristin's Story
Life
It's been 20 years where do I start? I live happily in Denver, CO with my 5 rescue dogs ranging from a scottie, westie, wheaten, wheaten mix, and a boxer retriever mix. I was a "foster care flunky" couldn't let go. I currently have a nonprofit that assist small shelters and people that cannot afford the costs of spay/neuters and other veterinary expenses. My main focus is Denver and the northern Colorado region, anything to reduce pet overpopulation in shelters ...Expand for more
and elsewhere. My other job is working with D.D. children and at-risk adolescents incorporating equine therapy, it's amazing seeing the positive changes that result with children riding/working with animals.
There's a lot more going on as well, like helping with the classmate search for our 20th reunion.
