Kristin's Story
The summer b4 my Freshman year I was in the Philippines for 3 months helping to build a 3 room school. Upon my return I only completed 1 semester at Concord so a lot of you may not remember me unless it was from Jr. High. We moved to Mesquite Texas where for the next 3 1/2 years I was made fun of because of my "yankee" accent but I made it through unscathed. Sometimes people will ask me "where's the accent from?" so I guess I did pick up a little bit of a drawl. Went to community college for awhile. ...Expand for more
Did several mission trips. Santiago Chile-visited local churches & schools. Queratero Mexico-we did a Convoy of Hope (food, medical supplies...). New Ross, Waterford, Wexford, & Inistigue Ireland-strictly a prayer trip. In 2004, I was in Jerusalem Israel for 6 months. Part of that time I was teaching English in the West Bank. I live in Florida now. Love the beach & being able to lay out year round! I'm a Human Resources asst. Just your basic 8-5 but I enjoy my job & that's what counts. That's it!
