Kristina's Story
Life
Many people from high school would be very surprised to know this since I always tried to ignore my Southern roots back then, but I now love country music (an ex-boyfriend turned me on to it). I'm also an AVID, HUGE, CRAZY-in-love-with-NASCAR fan! I go to at least 2 and sometimes 4 or 5 races a year. If I don't take my son, then I usually go with some of my NASCAR buddies that are scattered across the U.S.. There's just something about the roar of those engines...
I also devote some of my time to adopting deployed and veteran soldiers. I've sponsored 7 deployed soldiers in Iraq, 1 sailor also near Iraq, 3 Airmen and 2 ve...Expand for more
terans in the U.S.. All of my deployeds have made it safely home for which I'm very grateful.
Workplace
Right now I work as a Master Trainer for a company in Charlotte. I have 12 folks that I train/mentor/knock over the head sometimes and I really enjoy my job. They are an awesome group and I like to think we face challenges together.
Anyone that got to know me pretty well always knew that I could be bossy so my choice of occupation shouldn't surprise you. However, those that knew me as a shy sort of gal will probably be VERY surprised to hear that I can actually stand up in front of people and speak without passing out.
