Kristina's Story
Well here is my update. I did get married out of high school but that did not last too long. I had planned on finishing college to become a special education teacher but loved my job at Olive Garden so I became a manager for them. I left them Jan. 2007 after almost putting in 12 years with them and moving to places such as Reno, Vegas, Redding , and North Carolina for them. I guess you could say that I kind of took my life back I left my job, sold my house and started to get back to rebuilding frienships with long lost friends.
While I was going through my transition to figure out what next my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and had other medical things that came up so I took 5 months off moved in with my parents and nursed my mom back to health. It was very close we almost lost her to a blood clot in her lung. adation and she oversaw my mom's treatment.
As my mom received treatment I knew my health was at risk so I took it upon myself to get very healthy and take my health back. I am now the healthiest I have ever been in my life and the smallest I have ever been. As a result of my hard work I am doing the avon breast cancer walk that is 39 miles over two days in San Francisco in July.
After my mom and I both got healthy I went back to work and took a job in Seattle. That was not the right job so I moved back to Vegas then I had a new employer that asked me if I would go to Sacramento for them and that is where I am at now. I will be relocating most likely with them real soon to the Portland area and buying my next house.
In closing I am glad where I am at now in my life and have restarted many frienships back up with people from school and the love life is looking up with a new strong romance. I hope everyone is doing well and staying strong.
