Kristine's Story
Well, it has been a long time since High school. I went straight into the work force: ride operator at the Puyallup Fair (kiddie rides) the buzzers were loud and annoying, but I lived through it, barely. I was a Program Supervisor in various Daycare centers. My favorite job was Veterinary Technician, a job that was rewarding and informative. People will do anything for their beloved pets.
I have lived in Southern California for the past 12 years, what a time it has been.
In 1998, I took the plunge and got married . I moved to California because my husband was offered a job there.

rnia was an adventure. On I-5 by a Prison, I had a tire blow out.
It was the end of June and hot like I have never experienced before. My car didn't have any air-conditioning. I would get a fountain drink ( there wasn't any cup holders in my car) so I put the cup between my legs. I went over a speed bump to fast and the drink spilt over all over me, the funny thing is it felt so good-cold drink and ice, aahhh!!!! I ended up getting Heat stroke and stopped in Bakersfield for the night. I was so miserable and my husband is from New Mexico and was use to it, at least one of us was feeling alright.
