Kristine's Story
Workplace
I teach Special Education, primarily children with Autism. Recently, I have gone back to school for a degree in Spanish.
My first job was at Baskin Robbins, where I got paid 5.50/hr to scoop ice cream. What I remember most about it is getting fat and giving free ice cream to my friends..
A childhood memory I'll never forget: Staying at the beach all day, until dark, while my dad caught fish with his bamboo fishing pole.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have funny people around me, good coffee, and a flexible attitude to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see...Expand for more
again is Brian Szymanski, because he was my first love..
Obsession: TRAVEL
My job can be stressful, so I do yoga, laugh, and have an occasional bebida.
My inspiration comes from the kids that I work with. They are funny, positive, and so sweet... even with all of the struggles that they face.
My best friend would tell you I'm goofy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as professional.
I have completed a triathalon... that is my toughest 'physical' challenge.
I always wanted to be a ballerina when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a glamorous idea. As it turns out, they were right.
