Life
New apartment. New choices. New kittens. If someone had asked me 10 years ago to predict where I would be now, I would never have guessed that I would be on the East coast teaching.
Since coming to DC in 1997, I have spent a long time searching for a path that would bring me happiness. I spent three years working at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), a research public policy institute in Washington, D.C. s taking place in Mexico in the late 1990s. From November 2000 to November 2001, I pursued my interests in the overlap of the business and foreign policy worlds by working at the consulting firm Kissinger McLarty Associates.
I recently completed a Masters in Education and now teach 6th grade English as a Second Language in Northern Virginia. I truly love it. I live in DC and recently broke up with my boyfriend of three years, Scott.
