Kristy's Story
Life
After high school I worked and played until I met my husband (a U.S. Marine cobra pilot)in 1982. We married in '84 and moved a lot with his new job in Federal Law Enforcement. We've lived in Louisiana, Arizona, California and Hawaii. We have two beautiful girls. In 1991 he was killed in a work related helicopter crash in Hawaii. dential from Cal State San Marcos. So now I am officially an elementary special education teacher. I stay grounded with my family and dear friends.
College
As of Dec 2004, I finally am done with my Bachelors and two Teaching Credentials from Cal State San Marcos. I was on the 27 year plan for my b.a. Glad to finally say - "I did it!" I was too busy enjoying life and then raising kids to take college seriously in the beginning. I had to get my degree before my oldest daughter got hers from a fancy college.
