Barbara's Story

Who am I really? Of course now I am Barbara (Bobbie) Jon. Was born Kuligowski, married a Bergmann, went back to maiden name and then had a great idea. My uncle John who served in Italy during WWII died on his birthday in 1945. He was my godfather by proxy so I decided to change my last name to Jon, but took out the "H". I lived with my friends and worked in Zurich, Switzerland for approximately one year. Wonderful experience. My godchild's name is Tanja Barbara. I worked as a paralegal secretary in Phoenix for 8 years and worked and ended my working career with the State of Arizona, Department of Transportation. My deep love was traveling to Europe and Mexico. When my parents and I lived in Brooklyn, New York, we traveled over all these United States even Canada. I enjoy travel and have a curious mind in everything. Does anyone, actually a friend who had Leather class with me, remember the two of us having one favorite song by the Everly Brothers called "Cathi's Clown?". We always said when we graduated we would remember each other by this song. Does anyone remember this? Someone will if she is out there. Bobbie A childhood memory I will never forget is watching this woman every evening play the piano by the window at sunset. The piece was "Clare de lune". A classical piece. This is when I fell in love with the piano. I always wanted to be a model when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a wonderful idea. As it turns out, they were right. Listening to a great classical piece. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need t...Expand for more
o have A nice outfit , filled purse with necessities, and excedrin to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My uncle John who died when he was 22years old in W.W.II The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Donato Aldo Rene & Elisabeth, because I loved them dearly when I was in Europe. Obsessed with beautiful jewelery, interior decorating and all animals. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel I have remodeled and add on a everything. My dream home would be a two story log cabin. My child passed away while I was pregnant 7 months along My current age is 66. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be okay. I was so completely correct. My best friend would tell you I'm honest, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as very friendly and a listener. I'm more into casual style but still like to be presentable when dressing for a special occasion. I share my home with my dog Blue, which I find most pleasing.. In 10 years, I hope to be as I am now. I'm going to get there by doing my best. Her name is Janet, lives in South Dakota. Met her when I was 9 yrs. old. We met once when my parents & I were traveling. Kept in contact and somehow lost contact. In 2003 we met after all those years once again. Living in Brooklyn every evening I would watch a neighbor lady play classical piano at evening dusk. She always played "Clare de Lune." I would listen until she finished playing. Till the day I pass, she will always be in my thoughts. I believe that's why I love classical piano so much.
