Life
well i just turned 20 ive been a marine for almost 2 yrs now. i had a very close brush with death in iraq. ive been awarded a purple heart for my actions. i just currently married Misty Meade (class of 04) ive known misty for about 6 yrs now. we just moved out to california and we plan on staying out here until i get out of the marines but i might stay in for a nether 4 yr enlistment. see you all at our 10 yr reunion ill be sure to wear my dress blues.

i went to boot camp july 14 2003 and went to Paris Island, SC and it was kind of hard and im kind of ammazed that i made it through with out getting hurt at all i went from there to MCT which is Marine Corp Training and thats where we learned about combat and what it will be like and what we might have to do while were are out there. after MCT i went to Combat Engineer Instruction Companey aka CEIC. thats where i learned about my job or my mos(military ocupational specialty) in the marines. after that i went to the fleet marine force. my first duty station was camp pendelton, california. i do have to say its pretty nice here. i have gone to iraq and i almost died. i was with 2nd ...Expand for more
recon battilion which is out of camp lejeune, NC and my job was to fined IED's (Improvised Explosive Device(home made bomb)) and weapons caches. my partner who died a couple hours later found an IED and it exploded killing a 2nd recon marine and my partner. the blast blinded me for a sort period of time, i had srapnal wounds on the left side of my body and the left side of my face had flash burn from the bomb. i was med evacted out of camp fallujah to baghdad then from there to germany. germany is really cold but its beautiful in its landscape and building and somany other things. i suggest to any one take a vacation to germany and see every thing in the country. then i came back to the states.

well everyone how are you? im back in iraq again. doing what i do best. ive recently found out that my wife and i might be having our first child. thats still kind of up in the air. so ill fill you in later about that. havent really been up to anything. tying to get over what happen last time here(iraq) and what i need to do to do my job and come home to see all my friends, but more importly my wife and if we are pregnant my child too. well ill talk to you later bye
