Kyle's Story
Life
I've been a competitive powerlifter(squat, bench press, deadlift) for about a 4years on the East Coast, mostly in NJ, PA, NY, and VA. I hold a NJ STATE record in the 242lb(that's my weight class) with a bench press of 485lb. The record was 465lb. One of my biggest bench press in competition was 540lb. . meet in Upstate NY, I have done 620 and 650lb. I need to work on a few small details to make sure it goes right in Nov. On June 24, 2007, I competed in York PA, at the York Barbell Weightlifting Hall of Fame. I competed in the bench press only portion weighting only 252lbs and took 1st place with a personal best of 705lbs. My weight class is the 275lbs.Thats right 705lbs bench press at 39 yrs of age. Not bad for a Buena grad. I'll keep updating my progress. Hope all are doing well.
