Kyle's Story
In going with the "Story Idea", I've answered a few of them...
I bought the house I grew up in, in 1998. My career is helping run the county landfill in Tinton Falls. I'm divorced, without children. My biggest surprise would probably be that I wound up getting divorced to the girl I knew I'd be with for the rest of my life. I actually looked forward to the day I could say I am married for 50 years!
What people might find surprising is that I graduated Brookdale with a perfect GPA and now I'm working on my graduate degree at Kean with a 3.97. It's unexpected because I was a terrible student in grammar & high school, staying back once and usually passing classes by the skin of my teeth, if at all.
If I had one do-over, it would be to work as hard in High School as I do in college. If I did, I could have had a free-ride to any college I applied for. Instead, I have to go to the only one ...Expand for more
I can afford and I can only go part-time. I've been in school for ten years! Luckily, I like it and it's a pretty good school. It would have been nice to go away to college on a 4-year plan though.
If I had a chance to see any teacher again, it would definitely be Miss Nagrosky. I learned more about how the real World would be from her, then any other teacher I had prior.
To be truly happy I'd be married with the love of my life and have children, which I could watch and help grow into wonderful and respectable people. The only problem is, there's no love in my life.
It's true, life doesn't always turn out as expected. My biggest surprise has been that material items that I want and need cost more money than I make - therefore, I'm caught in the debt cycle and it's nearly impossible for me to free myself of it, because there's always something around the bend that I need (or want).
