Kym's Story
After nearly tripping over myself to get away from Stanwood, I find myself living back on Camano Island with my family. It's still a great place to raise kids (with a little more to do than when I was younger). My husband, Kent, and I live in a house that we built and are currently building a log home from the trees on our land. Our goal is to do it as "green" as possible - we'll see how it goes. ya is 8 and in 3rd. Both kids had the adventure of having our own Dave Austin as a PE teacher. He's fabulous with the kids! I am a 7th grade math/science teacher at our own Alma Mater, Stanwood Middle School and see some of our teachers in the hallways - Mr. Eldridge, Mr. Mouw, Mrs. King, Mr. Walker (who still teaches Art) and a few others. It's a little bit strange and I still can't call them by their first names. Hope everyone is happy and well...
