From Glenarden,Maryland. At this time residing in Olongapo City, Philippines. Schools include DuVal High School. While serving one third of of my life in UNCLE SAM'S NAVY ( B.O.H I.C O).I became a professional student by taking advantage of all the educational benefits and later attained enough credits to get degrees from the University of Maryland for Political Science,Old Dominion University for Accounting and University of California Santa Barbara for Film Aesthetics. All obtained while on duty in Norfolk Virginia aboard the USS SOUTH CAROLINA CGN 37 PRECOM August 6 1974 until November 16 1978 and in Yorktown Virginia at the MK 46 Torpedo-ASROC facility 1978 until 1981. Later while living in Port Hueneme serving at the Navy Sea Bee base with Naval Mobile Combat Battalion 4 and San Diego,California aboard the USS ROURKE FFG 1054 and while station in Guam aboard MV Jack Lummus with Preposition UNIT THREE. One of the other ships in our unit served as back up support for the Marines doing Somali during the Black Hawk Down. While in the Philippines I did a stint with COMMANDER SEVENTH FLEET PUBLIC AFFAIRS. We worked with the the U.S. embassy in Manila,the State Department and the Department of Defense....Expand for more
