Randy's Story
Life
I currently live in Hobart Tasmania after living for 3 years in Wellington NZ. Wellington is an absolutely fantastic place to live. Previously, my wife Andrea and I lived for 26 years in Philadelphia. I have been married for a lot of years now.... I have worked as a psychologist, researcher, administrator and software developer. My wife is an M.D specializing in traumatic brain injury and rehabilitation medicine. We like to travel and have travelled extensively throughout the U.S, Europe and the South Pacific. As Hobart is home base for many of the international Antarctic exploration teams I am hoping to visit there in the future. We get back to the U.S. about 2 times yearly to visit family and friends and to stay a little anchored in U.S. culture.

to the physical world through hiking and sea kayaking. I used to bike a lot but I broke my leg a few years back in a motor scooter accident, so biking is not pleasurable any more (though using the scooter is!). I have stayed curious about the world around me through the years and enjoy reading both fiction and non fiction. My favorite novelist is William F. Kennedy, author of the Albany cycle. My preferred non fiction is in anthropology, archeology, philosophy of science and history.
I look back in amazement that graduation was so many years ago. How the world has changed! And how I have changed as well. High school is but a brief page of life - but such an important one.
My ambition in life is to be curious and to continue to learn new things. There is a lot to explore and discover.
