Ladonna's Story
Graduated from Licensed Practical Nurse training in October 1970. Met (1971) and married husband (1972), Glen Busby (NLRHS '66). Glen is a Respiratory Therapist. Moved from Little Rock in 1975 ended up in Marianna, AR for 5 years, before moving to Batesville in 1981 where we have been ever since. Adopted our daughter, Susan in 1979. Ran an in-home day care for 18 years. Glen has worked at White River Medical Center for 24 years. ative Assistant to the District Superintendent of the North District of The United Methodist Church. This has become my calling, it is for me a dream job. I also am an active Lay Speaker in the UM Church - no longer shy about speaking in public! I have held numerous positions in the District and the Conference United Methodist Women organization and currently serve as the Communications Coordinator. I will also be Dean of our Arkansas Conference School of Christian Mission in the summer of 2010. I look forward to reconnecting with some of the Class of 1969!
