Elaina's Story

DON'T FORGET: I was Elaina RUSSELL in the 10th and 11th grades!, then my stepfather adopted me at age 16 and I took on the Finnish last name of LAMPPU ! eeewwe! School: I studied engineering at Valley Comm. College, plumbing and HVAC engineering at UCLA ext, BOORRINGG. I had a near fatal car accident which disabled me. But 2 yrs later attended Oxnard College for Truck Driving/Transportation. Got my class A and a job with S P Milling for 4 and half yrs. driving concrete mixer. I took Acconting at Pierce college, SNOOZE. Married since 1981, we homeschooled our 3 daughters, the eldest of which is graduating college this year! Whoo HOO! a founding board member of Rural Orphans & Widows AIDS Network, a public charity for Afrinan widows and orphans devasted by AIDS/HIV. We just rcvd our tax exempt letter from the IRS this Feb. Visit our developing website at ruralaids.org to see all the news and photos from Uganda. 2 of my daughters have already visited Mawanga, Uganda, and our sister church, there. I live in Acton, and my husband works in the film industry. I have been a notary public, certified in loan docs, for the past 4 yrs. I enjoy serving my community and talking with people when I perform this service. Anyone else out there live in or near the Acton / Agua Dulce neighborhood?
