More about Lana:"I have a few horses and raise Katahdin sheep for herding training and practice. I breed several ewes every fall for spring lambs to replace my herding flock and to sell.
My horses are a real joy to me. Skipper, my beloved trail gelding, was sold this year to make room for more "cowy" horse...Expand for more
s. Jewel, is now going on 3 and ready to start under saddle. Cookie is a gorgeous 8-year old with loads of working potential that I've been tapping all year.
Rainy has been at the trainer's pretty much all year and is becoming a pretty good cutter. I hope to be out showing her in 2013.
Then there is the newest equine addition, Peppy. My friend Chris and I bought her together and she's expecting a very nicely bred foal the end of March. I'll have to add some pictures when s/he arrives.
The other new addition is Jeep, a smooth-coat, split-face, b/w female Border Collie with so much natural instinct it's about scary. She's a hoot on sheep and elsewhere. Keeps me laughing.".
