Mona's Story
Spent my young childhood in Las Vegas, dreaming of being a showgirl. Boy, did I miss the mark on that. I was the tall, chunky, awkward (dork?) that was always on the fringe of things. Guess what? That hasn't changed much.
Moved to Van Horn, TX to complete my education in my mom's hometown. She was a single mother and she knew everyone would keep her informed of our nefarious plots and deeds. Was she right? Yes!

f my childhood dreams, he lives in Texas, I live in Alaska. What's up with that? Teaching in Alaska and exploring it in all it's grandeur was another life-long dream. The income and benefits were also appealing due to the failing economy. I think I'm about to learn that one dream cannot survive another, but I hope I'm wrong.
The one person from my past that I would like to see again is Vicky Homan because no matter how much her cool friends laughed, she was always my best friend in Las Vegas.
