Lane's Story
Started working for Delaware Co. park Police in 1981, then to Parkside Police and Brookhaven PD until 1984 when I was hired in Nether providence Twp PD. In 1996 I was hit on Baltimore Pike at 476 by a drunk driver. She made a mess of my back so the township put me on a disability pension in 1998. Started teaching flight instruction after that . Flying was just an expensive hobby but I was able to turn it int the best job anyone could ask for. I got hired by two companies to fly the owners around the country in 2004 for their business. de its self known again in the form of a Neuropathy. I had to resign in flying 2011 because of chronic pain and the meds I take.
Now I work around the house and and play with the dog. He was a mentally and physically abused dog who was headed for death. its taken 6yrs before he learned to trust again. Now he chases Deer and is my constant companion.
I got married in 1987 to my wife Linda and we had two daughters one died just after birth and the other, Noelle just graduated from Penn State.
so in the long run I had two great jobs and a wonderful family.
