My how time flys when you are having fun, huh?!?! I can't believe it is now a brand new year and before we can turn around it will be next year already!
Most things are about the same with me, work, home, grandkids, my friends at work, and my family. I got a new job at work am now the Admin Asst for the Finance group...will start my new job Jan. 12....I am excited about it. My family is growing.....I now have a new grandaughter in-law to be, my grandson Jordan asked Holly to marry him just before Christmas....we are all excited as we love Holly....it won't be for a while....they still have some school to finish.
Went to my 50th class reunion of the Class 1960 and had a great time...renewing old accquaintances and seeing lots of friends....made me stop and think about me and my life.....I am so blessed to have so many friends and family.
Happy New Year to all and hope 2011 is a great year for all of you.....if you are ever in the Ponca City area call or come by I will be glad to take you out to dinner or lunch!

Wow, it has been over a year since I last updated this thing. Things are about the same with me, just go to work, and play when I have time. I spend a lot of time at the softball field, my 11 year old grandaughter, Jacye, is quite the player, and she travels with a team from here in Ponca City. So I try to go to as many of her games as possible.
My daughter Cyndy and her family moved back to Oklahoma in May. They are in the Edmond area and we are all so very happy.
I have re-connected with several friends from SE, and have at least had e-mail conversations with t...Expand for more
hem. Seems like every time there is something going on to come to, I have something going on here that I can never make the event. One day my life will slow down, I hope!!

Gosh has it really been that many years since I graduated from highschool?? Can't believe how the years have flown by. I don't seem to feel that old!
I am currently working as a receptionist at Pioneer Tech Center, our local Vo-Tech here in Ponca City, America!! I love the job, have made lots of new friends, and for a little old widowed grandmother, life is pretty good. Not what I had planned for this time in my life, but guess the good Lord had other plans for my sweet husband. My health is good, and my family are here, and what more could I ask for.
I have 8 grandkids 5 girls, 3 boys, ages 23,19,16,15,10,9,2, and 6 months, and they keep me very busy.
I stay busy taking classes at vo-tech. Have taken up quilting, and love it. Still do a lot of sewing, especially with the quilting. We have such a good time makeing quilts. I also love doing photography, and have had several jobs, doing weddings, senior pictures, and family groups. It is great fun, and I really enjoy it.
To the class of 60, keep in touch. I haven't been able to come to any of the class reunions, as there has always been something going on here at the same time. Will make it one of these days!
