Lani's Story
Well, I thought that by now I would be fabulously wealthy,happily married, own a huge house, and be a world traveler. That hasn't happened. I'm back in Missouri after living in Oklahoma and Kansas. Didn't get far, did I?? That's ok, though. I'm currently living in Raymore, and work for a print firm in Independence. I have 2 children and my beautiful grandson. I'm single, and have a great group of friends that I hang out with. You can find me on geemail. For lani.high, life is pretty ok.
The nice part about being up here is still getting to hang out with some of my good friends from high school. I go to church with Julie Johnson and Linda Johnson. I run into Diane Weislocher, Linda Morrow, Jamie Neiderhiser and Rick Miller occasionally. I "met" Mark Wood a few years ago, and we became great friends as well. Unfortunately, (o...Expand for more
r fortunately, for him!) he met a wonderful woman and moved to Springfield, MO. I miss him every day. Brenda Cole also moved down there, so I don't see much of her any more either. But Suz is still here. Susan Hughes and I hung out with each other on and off from 7th to 12th grade, but we got really close after graduation. As a matter of fact, we married best friends (boy, was THAT dumb!) She has supported me through 2 marriages/divorces, the death of my beloved father, the neurological issues with my son, my daugher's marriage and birth of my grandson (I was there for Seth's birth as well!) The poor woman! The crap she has listened to from me. She is a friend like no other, and I don't know what I would do without her.
Anyway, hope that everything is going well for the rest of you. I'll see you at the 30th reunion at Kelli's!
