Lanie's Story
So who can believe we're all "old" now? I thank the Lord every morning when I roll out of bed that nothing hurts. Sure, I'm now wearing two hearing aids, in case I really want to hear what's being said. And sure, we all have at least some gray hair and wonderful laugh lines. If you don't, it's time to start working on them. Laughter massages your heart and honestly, who really wants to hear about creeky joints, cataracts and diseases our parents would never think to discuss with us, let alone at the dinner table?

is year), still works circles around me. We have recently returned to Chalfont, squeezing 15 lbs of antiques and "stuff" into a 5 lb box in an ACTIVE Over 55 community. He's developed quite a following with the ladies while I'm still working full time and counting the weeks. BTW, Wayne Transue (Class of '63) lives here too and remembered me after 50 years. His hair is grey, but that smile and laugh hasn't changed a bit.
