LARANE's Story
Life
After leaving the University of Michigan to acquire my MRS., my husband, David Nesbitt (APHS '64) completed his accounting degree at Wayne State and "we" entered a career in the F.B.I. My part was to raise the 4 children and see to their spiritual, educational, and enrichment growth. That may sound easy, but it required a bit of maneuvering. at nearby Ca. Lutheran University and completed it in 1989, one month shy of my 41st birthday. What a wonderful feeling! Now I continue to substitute teach, locally, and am often requested by the contracted teachers. I enjoy the students very much--they seem to like my wry, sometimes dry, sense of humor, too. One of the most effective tools I use is my knowledge of trivia--esp. sports--which I continue to enjoy as a spectator these days!
