John's Story
John's schools include Lincoln High School and then Torrance High School. John later attended CSULB. John works(ed) at Retired PE Teacher. My senior year I was involved in a motor cycle accident in which I broke my neck. I moved to Las Vegas looking for work and found a job as a blackjack dealer and roulette dealer. After 5 years I went back to school (UNLV and CSULB) to earn a degree in Kinesiology and I taught pe at an elementary school in South Central LA for 9 years. I retired, but kept subbing in Torrance till 2015 and then completely retired. I now often go to Starbuck's at the Riviera Village to have coffee, read, study my Bible and visit...Expand for more
with people I have met there. I almost always shop at Trader Joe's since it is so close. I have been married for 46 years as of July 4, 2016. I have four grown children, 3 girls and 1 boy. I have four grandkids, 3 girls and 1 boy. My son n law is a US Marine and has less than a year to retire from the Marines. My wife and I attend Torrance First Baptist Church and we both serve as Deacon and Deaconess. My wife and I enjoy traveling and visiting relatives all across this great land. I bowl times a week and attend water fitness classes at LA Fitness in the Del Amo Mall. I often try my hand at golf, but am reminded why I didn't golf in high school.
