Larry's Story

Life My Spouse Sister of a friend of mine - met her in my favorite tavern throwing darts...they kept Guinness in stock just for my consumption, and she ordered one.... The bartender told her that I was the only one who drank it, and that she would have to ask my permission! She made some sort of joke about it, and I replied with a "witty" rejoinder - she remarked something about intelligent life in a redneck bar...the rest is history - 15 yrs now. My Pets Buzz and Roscoe - 3 year cats. Brothers, alter egos & best friends My Kids My son Chris is a grad of Northern Illinois U. He is now a Branch Manager at Fifth Third Bank - inherited my talent for finance but is much more people-oriented than his Dad. My Job Been a senior financial manager since I was 25. thing I know how to do....sad but true. No mechanical or practical skills - just a professional manager.........been in distribution, manufacturing, consulting, construction, and public accounting...so I've seen and done a lot, with a pretty lofty view the entire time....now I'm sharing my expertise with business owners in the small and middle market as a Consultant. School Absolutely, positively, HATED High School...it was pretentious, phony, and not germane to anything in my life then or now. Sorry, people, that's just the way it was...I still hate those years - worst of my life. College The time of my life. Had so much fun it took me 7 years to finish. Delivered pizza to pay my way through - knew where all the GOOD parties were and threw a few too. Good times.
