Larry's Story
Post SRVUHS; Class of 1965
Family: married in 1971 and had 5 children [2 daughters; 3 sons]. Divorced and remarried in 1991.
Education: 4 years at UC Davis, entering with the intention of becoming a medical microbiologist, but eventually graduating with a BA in anthropology with an interest in archaeology. Attended one year at an interdenominational Bible School in England, then descriptive linguistics study. In the USA attended more linguistics studies and one year of seminary in a major mid-western school with an emphasis on New Testament Greek. ry Technology and later in inorganic chemistry. Have several certifications from the Association of Operations Management.
Occupation: originally interested in Bible Translation work, but later shifted to janitorial building maintenance contractor; last 20 years have been in management for warehousing and manufacturing, mostly in biotech/medical device industries in the SF Bay Area.
Interests: I¿ve always done a lot of hiking, but even more in recent years since my wife is a long distance trail runner which gets us out to many parks and venues. I¿m an avid reader, mostly magazines, and watch zero television.
