Larry's Story
I'll try to make this brief and broad.
After Santa Fe, right to Rio Hondo for 1 1/2 yrs til I got my draft notice. Joined the Navy and had a great time. Did some growing up. Saw some of the world. Out in '73, jobs varied from Sports Editor in East Texas (oh yeah, it took 10 years but I finally got my BA in Journalism from Long Beach) to Personnel Mgr Asst, in Dharan, Saudi Arabia.
Settled as a buyer for Hughes Aircraft Co. in Fullerton. Married in '80. One kid ...Expand for more
(she's a teacher in Phoenix now). Moved to Tucson in '86 (tranferred to Hughes Missile Group). Retired from Raytheon (bought Hughes Missile) 5 years ago, but have been consulting with them almost ever since.
My passion is Thoroughbred Horse racing. I am an owner, breeder, and trainer. Keeps me broke and humble.
I missed every school reunion except the last one (41 years, I guess). And I do regret that.
