Lawrence's Story
Life
Hmmm.....where do I start....
Well...I moved to Mesa in 85 and spent most of my free time doing things like going to Gothic/alternative dance clubs and seeing all of the bands that I love so much even today. I admit I havent changed too much in appearance (I still attend many different gothic and deathrock types of clubs) I guess I feel like that scene is where I belong and since my work(my own business) is something that keeps me involved or close to it all, it's a great thing. (I make leather and metal accessories,clothing,art,etc...for various famous musicians and some very well known actors too. I also produce misc. items to be used in movies as well.) I actually started making leather goods while at Dobson & I never imagined that it would become my business and my area of expertise, years later. I love being creative and I am so fortunate to be able to have such a great creative outlet and a clientele that appreciates what I do. I would love a chance to thank a couple of teachers from Dobson and Vo-tech for nurturing the creativity in me and some things they taught me that affected me and maybe guided me into being the entrepreneur that I am today.
Especially Ms.Devane my art and photo teacher at Dobson. I think of her often and hope she affected more students in the way she affected me...truly inspiring.

r everyone but I love life here and it truly is home to me! I certainly love the change from living in the heat of AZ. :)
I invite anyone who feels the urge to reach me (whether it is business or personal) ...to do so thru Classmates...or by reaching me at (ScaryLeather at America OnLine)I would love to hear from you.

School
Gee....I spent a lot of time focusing not on school, but my activities outside of school, and I have no real regrets. I think that I could have slowed down a little bit at times. I dated many girls and I am glad for all the fun experiences I did have though I know that I could have probably been a little nicer at times and cared a little more, I eventually got that side of me all ironed out and put into perspective, and I now really know the value of ones heart. I think I developed a bad reputation during my later High School years and it was probably justified to an extent but really I was just trying to find myself and have a good time in the process, and I can definitely say that I did do that ! I think back on those years with mixed feelings but overall I think the best parts were because of all of the people I met (that is why I like to reconnect with people thru this service....I have fun with it.....but saying I have fun is an understatement anyway because I always have fun no matter what!)
