Larry's Story
I joined the Marine Corps in 1965 and served 8 1/2 years. I did two tours in Vietnam, the first in 1965 -1966 as a machine gunner and the second in 1968-1969 as a platoon sergeant. After discharge I worked in highway construction for about a year 1/2 then went to work as a corrections officer for the Mohave County Sheriff's Office. stayed until I retired. I retired because I had been elected as the Kingman Justice of the Peace. I served 12 years there and retired completely after that. I married Linda Swain in 1966, we have 2 children, 10 grandchildren and 4 Great grand children. We spend our time with family camping and hunting, as well as just spoiling our G/kids. We are involved in our church where I direct a program for combat veterans with war trauma. God Bless you all.
