Life
Hi Everyone!
A little history first, I grew up an Air Force Brat traveling around the world with my family. Some of the notable place that I lived include; Okinawa Japan, Goose Bay Labrador, Keflavik Iceland and finally Carswell AFB Fort Worth Texas. I attended and graduated from Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth. Notable accomplishments during my senior year included working at the Officers Club at Carswell, and being on the staff of the Jacket Journal.
Three things happened in June of 1981. I turned 18, my father retired from the air force, and we move to his home Philadelphia Pa. I spent the first year after High school working a number of jobs, cooked eggs at DennyÂs, pumped fuel oil for my uncle Art, once the cold let up that winter I moved to Florida, lived with my Aunt Cindy and got a great job as a Merchant Marine.

uipment Operator. Assignments included Hickam Hawaii, Austin Texas, Osan Korea, Howard AFB Panama, Lubbock Texas, Lajes Field Azores, and Eglin AFB Florida. I had major TDYÂs to Jordan, Germany and Micronesia. I retired in 2003 as a Master Sergeant.
Upon retiring I was able to choose what I wanted to be when I grew up. I chose to become a Crane Trainer. I now teach Crane Safety, inspect cranes and other heavy equipment and provided consulting services dealing with OSHA standards. This job allows me to travel and continue to see the world.
While in Panama, I met this beautiful little school teacher named Ilka. She won my heart and agreed to be my wife. We married in Lubbock Texas.
On the personal front, I have lived George Straights song ÂAll My ExÂs Live IN TexasÂ. I am currently married to Ilka and have two growing kids, Jessica 13 and Lance 10. We live in a house with a pool in Saint Cloud Florida
