Larry's Story

Graduated twice from the University of Northern Iowa. Moved to Houston to work at the University of Houston. Left for Beaumont, Texas to become the Director of the Setzer Student Center at Lamar University. Left Lamer to work on a PhD at North Texas University, this did not work out so I went to work for the Bruner News Network. Worked for the YMCA for a year as Progra...Expand for more
m Director. On to Fort Worth, to become the Brown-Lupton Student Center Director. I advised and guided the building of and opened the $50 million new University Union in 2008. I am retiring on July 17th. I was an active member in NACA and ACUI where I won numerous awards. I have an NACA Award and Scholarship named for me and an endowed scholarship named for me at TCU.
