Larry's Story
Life
After 30 years of marriage (to the same women, Patty) and three great kids, my family is still number 1 on my list. I have lived in Carnelian Bay (North Tahoe) since 1978, and have operated very sucessful business, Orlando Enterprises, as a custom home builder and real estate sales. Still the excitement of helping my daughter, Victoria (25) and her husband, Gustavo, move from San Jose to Reno in 2004 to a their own home is the best. My oldest son, Sam (23), is working in the construction trades in Sacramento and is in escrow on his first home. My youngest son, Franklin, is a junior at North Tahoe High playing football, snowboarding, and very heavy into baseball. This brings up my newest activity as I just filled the vacancy of Head Varsity Baseball Coach at the high school. I have devoted much of my free time to both the youth football and baseball leagues. work early, and I enjoy being with the kids.
I got into the old car hobby when I was in high school (1957 Ford), and I'm still going strong with a few cars in the 50's, a 39 Ford street rod, and both of my sons are involved in the hobby, too. Patty likes the shows, the cars, the people, and especially Hot August Nites in Reno.
Since, I could never swim as a youth (and not much better, now!) I got the kids all involved in swimming, then boating (after all we do live across from a very large lake), water skiing, camping, and other outdoor events. All these activities are great family fun. When the kids all switched over from skiing to snowboarding I had to make the switch, also. When I started there wasn't too many old timers on boards but now I'm one of many.
Patty and I always enjoy company! So, give us call and let's get together for some fun, food, and activities!
