Larry's Story
During High School: Easy-going student but didn't apply myself as much as I should have.
School Hang-out: Usually in the Gym or Outside Basketball court area. During nutrition usually hung out near the handball courts with my good friend Rudy Ayala, or some of my other close friends from Astoria Gardens Apts (Ray Gonzalez, Richard Garcia, Victor Herrera). Played on the Varsity football team in 1979 (Wide Receiver, #81)....yeah, we were terrible!
Most liked teacher: Mrs. Bralver (Health)
Least liked: The dude that taught Spanish (I think his name was Mr. Galenski, or G-something or oth...Expand for more
er...he said he was Russian!??...I thought he was something else--probably shouldn't tell you in this venue)
After High School: Graduated from Sylmar in 1981. Joined the U.S. Air Force in Jan 1983 and retired on 1 Feb 2004 after 21 years of continuous active-duty service. Now working for the Dept of Air Force as a federal employee. Married to Tokey (class of '82) with four kids (all now adults except for our 14-yr old son). We have three grandchildren and one more on the way.
