Larry's Story
Life
After leaving Grant in 1958, attended OU where I married a fellow student and introduced my wonderful daughter, Melanie Elizabeth, to the world. Graduated with a Journalism, history, philosophy mish-mash, was a reporter for Daily Oklahoman and Times, wire service reporter for Associated Press and then held a variety of professional and management positions in IBM in Kansas City (where my son, Stephen, was born), Washington, DC, Atlanta (where my first marriage ended and where I later ...Expand for more
met and married the delightful Ginny who has put up with my workaholic habits for 19 years), and New York. While in NY, I left IBM to offer marketing, communications and identity consulting services. We moved the practice to Raleigh a few years ago. It's a growth market and we've made some wonderful friends and dodged a few hurricanes. I have two grandchildren (ages 12 and 8) who have joined their mother in picking up my compulsive love of horses. I'm looking forward to the US Grant reunion.
