Larry's Story
Before attending Timken Senior High School I attended Souers Middle School. While at Souers Middle School I was involved in the Band with Mr. Conversino. Once at Timken I got immediately involved in the Marching, Pep and Concert Band (Mr. Flowers). I was known in the Timken Band as "Bunky". I forget how the name came about but it stuck and I used it!
Shortly after joining the band at Souers Middle School I realized my passion for music and opened my first DJ service with my Cousin. We named the company: Madd Music DJ Service. A short time later, my cousin decided being a DJ wasn't for him but that didn't stop me. From here on out, I would perform on the weekends at Faircrest Park for Private Parties. Charging just $10.00 per Event (HaHa).
Most of my memories from Timken High School are connected to the Marching Band... Performing at the Fawcett Stadium, Going to Band Camp, Performing at Cedar Point, Volunteering at Geauga Lake to Raise Money for Band Uniforms, Marching in the Parade, & Post Football Game Parties at Mike & Abby's House which is still standing on Navarre Road.

and was the highlight of my day because at the time music was my life and still is. Currently I'm the President of a Multi-State Professional DJ & Karaoke Service (Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, New York). Although I have branched out into other states with my business I've always remained living in Canton, Ohio.
In addition to being a "Fairytale Event DJ" (just a fancy job title) I am also a Licensed Wedding Officiant. On top of everything else, I work Security part-time for a Private company and I have an excellent relationship with my supervisor.
In a nutshell, while at Timken I wasn't popular because I kept to myself but being a Professional Event DJ since I left Timken High School I've become the life of the party! Just as an example, in 2006 I participated in a Q92 Radio contest for Usher tickets where I dressed in nothing but a diaper with a bottle and rattle in my hand and stood on State Street in Alliance, Ohio and waived at Vehicles as they passed by. I would of never did anything like this as a student. I'm all about fun & laughter regardless of the price I've got to pay!
