Larry's Story
I have had a very varied education and work life: BA,MSW,MBA...... commercial food management, catering business, social work, insurance and finally (for the past 20 years) self employed in plumbing and heating. Married late (45) first time dad at 47, then again at 50. (They say it keeps a person young!) I am enjoying parenthood and because of self employment have been able to be a very involved dad at my sons'
schools.
Have travelled much before marriage ......lived in Israel for a year, South America for 4 months, Eastern Europe. Now with kids the travel component is quite limited. Maybe in retirement this can resume.

mp, cycle, canoe and sail. I hope to one day get larger sailboat and do some coastal cruising of US eastern coast.
Spend much of my cold weather free time with photography (warm weather is for the outdoors!)
After 19 years in Philly proper, I moved back to Havertown about 8 years ago because I did not want to deal with private school for my sons. It is interesting being back in my boyhood home.......very unusual in this day and age: I am third generation owner of the home, my maternal grandparents built it in late 1950's and it never has been out of family.
In all, life has been a fun adventure and with young sons, I'm sure my 60's will be equally stimulating.
