Larry's Story
Well, every once in a while, Life finds a way of kicking us in the teeth. I just lost my wonderful wife of 46 years to a brief but intense battle with cancer. Some of you may remember the Across the Street Restaurant there in MWC. Well, in 1976, I was the manager of said establishment. One day, in walks this beautiful young woman, Linda by name, looking for a job. She had already been hired by Wendy's, but they required her to work nights and weekends. art was smitten and I hired her on the spot. Sorry Wendy's, your loss. Then a year and a half later, I married her.
We had two wonderful daughters together, who have given us 7 grandchildren and one great grand-daughter. I know that my world here is incomplete without her. However, I also know that she is in a far better place, being in the Strong Arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is sorely missed by all who had the blessing of having her in their lives. One day soon, we shall walk the streets of that city together, whose builder and maker is God.
