Larry's Story
After graduating from RHS I went to a couple of community colleges before attending WSU (Go Cougs). Partied hardy and got asked to matriculate elsewhere. Then I went into the navy for a couple of years during the Viet Nam conflict.
After my navy tour I was accepted back at WSU and graduated with a degree in Bacteriology and Public Health in 1977. Did I say Go Cougs?
I started my carrier as an Environmental Health Specialist at Jefferson Co. Health Department working out of Port Townsend...Expand for more
. Then worked at Tacoma-Pierce County Health for about 22 years doing the same job as up in Jefferson County (food inspections, septic system and well approvals, etc.).
I left Tacoma-Pierce County Health in 2001 and now work at the Washington State Department of Health doing hospital inspections as well as doing inspections for Medicare providers such as hospitals, renal dialysis facilities and rehab facilities.
I'm not married or have any kids but I do have a girl friend of many years.
