Larry's Story
Well I retired from the Alameda County Fire Dept. (formerly the Castro Valley Fire Dept.) I had spinal surgery. Not really disabled just couldn't do the things people expect of their fireguys. I'm living in the Central Sierra's in Shaver Lake. I work as a Tax preparer during the tax season in Fresno. I'm divorced with 2 kids with my first wife Doris (Rodrigues, CVHS Class of 67) we had 2 children together. I lost my son tragically in 2000. e of my life. Gracie, the baby is a true miracle baby, born 2 months early with several heart and lung problems. She had 3 surgeries the first week of her life and has a tiny little pace maker. At 10 days old the family was called together to say good bye as she was coming off life support, and she fooled the Doctors, her vitals got to a point where the Docs were able to do whatever it is they did to save her life. I always enjoy it when I get that email that says someone has looked at my profile.
