Larry's Story
- Went 1 year to UCSB on a baseball scholarship (1968-1969). Didn't like it - plus ended up with a 1.9 GPA so left after 1 year.
- Went back to San Jose State University for next 3 years. Didn't graduate.
- Became a Christian in 1970 and worked for Campus Life.
- Met my future wife in Campus Life and married in July 1972.
- Joined the Air Force in 1973 and went to Wichita Falls, TX as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Went to school at night (Midwestern State University) and after 4 years graduated in 1978 with a BBA.
- Had our first son, Jonathan, in May 1977.
- Got a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in Hospital Adminsitration in 1978 and went to Del Rio, TX.
- Had second son, David, in Dec 1980.
- Got out of the Air Force in June 1981 and moved to St. Anthony, ID for about a year.
- Went back into the Air Force in March 1982 and went back to Del Rio, TX.
- Was sent by the Air Force to Trinity University in San Antonio, TX for a Masters in Information Systems degree in 1984.
- Had final child, daughter Erin, in 1984.
- Went back to Wichita Falls, TX to run a computer shop for medical training.

nt by Air Force to get a PhD at Ohio State University - Public Policy.
- Diagnosed with Kidney Cancer in 1990 - had kidney removed and went back to Air Force without graduating in 1991 - went to Washington DC.
- Last assignment with the Air Force was in San Diego, CA - retired in 1995.
- Moved to Ann Arbor, MI to work as a healthcare consultant with Altarum Institute. Have worked with the same company since 1995.
- Elected to local school board in 2004 and reelected in 2008 and 2012. Left the board in 2014.
- Kidney cancer came back in 2014 so retired and spending time enjoying life and family. Strongly believe God is still in control and has a plan for how ever many years I have left.
- Love to travel.
- Still married to Becky for 42 years. Have 3 children and 8 grandkids.
Loved the 40th reunion in August 2008 and the 60th Birthday Party in 2010 and look forward to reconnecting with old friends. Especially enjoyed talking with Bobbi Branham, Craig Hamilton, Craig Sturgess, Steve McClung, Jocelyn Moran, and many more. Can't wait until the next one.
