Well time has really flown by, next year it will be 40 years sense I left Glendale to go to SMS and now they have even changed the name of it. See what happens when you leave town for to long. I moved to Springfield in the summer of 1968 from Oceanside California and as luck would have it moved into the Glendale district. In December of 1972 I married the most wonderful women in the world Karen Hockensmith, she graduated from Glendale in 1969, as one grows older you have the ability to look back at your life and if you are honest with yourself you can admit that you failed in some ways. One of my failures was that I was 21 when I married Karen but my maturity level was that of a 18 year old that wanted to play football run with the boys and drink beer. I ended the marriage after only 2 years, for this I have my regrets. I been around the world 5 times and have spent months in places that alot of people only read about. I have been in the aviation business for 34 years and have owned my own company for 25 of those years. This has allowed me to do things and go places that are really interesting and exciting. Along the way I married 3 other women, the last one was for 22 years and I have two very beautiful daughters. I am now single again (not because of my doing) but it was for the best.
