Life
At Balboa High School I was really quiet and stayed with my very best friend Rossaue Ward, who I am now in constant contact with. I am now looking for Yaira Colon & Erica Myers (for me) and Tyrone Cannidy and Stacey Jones(for my brother). If you can help me, please drop me an email.
As for me, I am now 31 years old and married. I have three kids (Telah, 11 , Zion, 4 and Sahri, 2). My husband, William, who is my # 1 fan, has been married to me for seven years. It was one of those "God must have sent yout to me scenarios". I've always liked tall, dark and well-mannered men. So, that's what I got, a true onyx. His passion is racing sports bikes, but it freaks me out a lot. Mainly, because of the danger, but he has never lost a race. So, in the likeness of his father, my son, has taken on this feat as well.
I am now an Assistant Principal at a middle school in North Carolina. I have a B.A in English Literature, a Masters in Education in Reading (Curriculum and Instruction) and I am AGAIN in a masters program to get my Masters in School Administration. Once I complete that I plan to get my Doctoral Degree in Education. After my last baby, I decided to focus on me, my career, my family and now my spirituality. I am a active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
I am still that quiet young lady, but I formed an aggressive side, due to my job. I enjoy watching documentaries and doing research. My husband has to bring out my fun side because my job consumes me. I love planting flowers in my yard, no let me take that back, I enjoy looking at them once my husband plants them. I own a massive shoe collection (so does he) and I can confess that it is an addiction. (Getting better).
As for those who knew my family. My mom is an executive now (doing REALLY WELL), my youngest brother is on his way to Japan (exchange student) and my oldest brother is in the music business and lives in California. He has made beats for many songs for R&B and rap artists (even rock once). If you thought you saw him on a movie or a few music videos, it WAS HIM!!! He owns a shoe and clothing online store (that does pretty well). He turned my husband onto it and we too are doing pretty well, yet we have not placed ours online yet. We have the basic set-up for retail sales of tennis shoes, jeans, shirts, you name it in designer. It's expensive to buy these things, but the turnover in sales is awesome. Hopefully we will expand to the internet soon!
All, in all I have turned out pretty damn good, despite some pitfalls in my life. Yet, I owe all of those pitfalls for my success that I have now. I do believe that every person that enters your life , leaves an imprint. This imprint can either change you for the better or create a bigger slump for you. I, have made the best of all my situations.
Oh, by the way, I have gained A LOT of weight, but I'm not overweight. My husband loves it, but me....I really don't, so I am looking to remove some of this soon.
