Latonia's Story
Wow!!! First, I'd like to say Hello to each and everyone of you who visit this site. I attended E.C 1974- 1978 I can honestly say It has been very memorable. I often wondered thru the years about my class-mates. I can count on one hand how many people I still associate with actually one finger. Rochelle Hester and I has always stayed in touch. Thru Good times and Bad, We've been together thru Marriages, Children, Divorce (mine), Graduations, Jobs and Job Promotions, Illness, My Son's Car accident, Funerals (our Mothers) Our Daughters are best of friends We all Travel together Cruises ( once a year) and Vegas. We Love each other and we give thanks to our friendship which started at East Catholic.
I believe you guys would probably be the most surprised at my Job occupation I'm an Decorating Carpenter for an Automotive Company in which I do Displays and Exhibits thru-out the whole North America. Ex: North America Auto Shows and Nascar Races. I love My Job.
My fave. teachers would be Sister Angela, she once told me it would be the friends you keep that would have an reflection on the person you are. That has stayed with me forever. The wild things we're done in school can't be mentioned without others consent.
My first crush knows who he was, I sometime wonder what became of him also. I did notice he is not on the Classmates List.(At the time I first written this) I wish him nothing but God's best. (Yes I still wish him God's best and He is on this Site)He hasn't posted a photo he say he looks the same. I didn't make it to the reunion events so I wouldn't know, I'll take his word on it.I would hope my old classmates remember my Smile because I still have it.
If I could have one do- over . I would like to relive the one day (which turned out to be the last day) I had a meeting with my High school crush and another Guy showed up which was an high school basketball rivalry of his I never got the chance to explain that he was only a neighbor. I guess it was'nt meant to be (woo-woo).
The weirdest Job I ever had was the one I have now. You never really know what a day will bring or who you'd meet. Auto Shows, Winter Blasts ,G.M Style, CancerSociety, March of Dimes, Grand Prixs and that's just to name a few.
Through it all I've remained in Michigan.
